Ctrl R — Sustainable Accessories & Footwear
Ctrl R is a product design project that explores the recovery and reuse of discarded materials—such as vinyl records, tires, PET bottles, and leather—by transforming them into contemporary accessories and footwear.
The project establishes a distinctive visual and material identity where reuse is not hidden, but celebrated. Vinyl records become structural surfaces, reclaimed leather defines form and comfort, and contrasting details—such as stitching, geometric panels, and signature red accents—create a recognizable design language across products.
Ctrl R challenges the idea that sustainable products must compromise on aesthetics or functionality. Through careful material experimentation, prototyping, and product rendering, the project demonstrates how responsible design can result in durable, expressive, and commercially viable objects.
At its core, Ctrl R encourages conscious consumption by proving that sustainability and design innovation can coexist—turning waste into value while maintaining a strong visual identity and user appeal.
